2017 Chrysler Pacifica
Mileage74,924Service Date6/26/2026Services Performed- Technician scanned codes and ran the vehicle while monitoring scan data and confirmed there is a misfire on cylinder 5. After sitting overnight the misfire is bad enough to cause the CEL to flash. After running for 10 minutes the misfire stops Technician moved the #5 coil to a known good cylinder, misfire did not move. Technician inspected the spark plug and found it to be in good condition. Technician used a bore scope to look down into the cylinder and found nothing out of place. Technician then placed the cooling system under pressure overnight. The next morning the technician used a bore scope to look into the cylinder and found coolant pooled up on top of the piston. This is due to a failed head gasket, unfortunately on these engines the entire cylinder head would likely have to be replaced to properly repair the issue. – Customer was advised and opted to use k-seal to try and stop the leak. We kept it overnight for testing and at the moment the misfire has not returned and there is not coolant on top of the piston.

2018 Honda Accord
Mileage55,765Service Date6/26/2026Services Performed- Scanned system for codes and found several stored. PO301 – Cylinder #1 misfire condition, Other 4 codes were for communication and voltage issues. We noted the battery is new but very swollen on the sides. Checked charging system and found normal voltage. Removed battery and customer went and brought us a new one. Could have caused the voltage and communication codes. Moved spark plugs and coils around as the first test but misfire would not present itself. Monitored scan data and found fuel trim readings running lean. Determined that the valve cover PCV runner was leaking. The way it is could cause the lean condition and possibly the misfire. Informed customer about the finding and replaced the valve cover and PCV valve with OEM parts. Cleared system of codes and test drove. Fuel trim readings were normal. Started after different times of sitting and seemed good. Started on Saturday morning and slight misfire was felt. Cylinder #1 came back as the code. We then performed a block test of cooling system and this passed 2 times even though we could smell possible coolant in exhaust when first starting. Research shows these turbo motors can be prone to head gasket issues. This would require taking to the dealer for repair unfortunately.

Recommend replacing front brake pads and rotors. – Technician inspected the parking brake and found that they needed to be adjusted back up to make contact with the inside of the rotor. Technician adjusted the parking brake and they now function as intended. – Technician inspected the brake switch and found that bracket that holds the switch was bent out of place and not allowing the brake switch to make proper contact with the brake pedal arm. Technician bent the bracket back into place and replaced the gromet and the brake switch now functions as intended

Mileage205,634Service Date3/10/2026Services Performed- Technician inspected vehicle and found: – Transmission fluid is dark – Transfer case fluid is dark – Rear differential fluid is dark – Oil is dark and past due according to the windshield sticker – Rear turn signal bulbs are burnt out – Front brake pads are at 3mm – Driver front door will not open with interior handle, upon further inspection the cable that runs to the latch mechanism is broken. – Driver side rear exterior door handle is separating Technician scanned codes and found two codes related to the catalytic converters. Technician cleared codes, if any codes return diagnosis is required however at this mileage it will likely need cats.
