OIL CHANGE SERVICE – GOING ON A TRIP AND WANTS IT CHECKED OVER
Upon inspection we found the front and rear brake pads at 6mm thickness which is good at this time.
Inspected vehicle for concern. Checked oil level and found not showing on the stick. Scanned system for codes and found several for camshaft and crankshaft position issues. We decided to do the oil change first and clear system of codes. Test drove vehicle and all noises went away as well as all codes. Informed the customer that the engine seems to use oil so checking frequently should be done.

Removed all wheels for inspection. Before that we did duplicate the noise concern of the customer. Upon inspection we found all brake pads 75-80% worn. The rear rotors are badly rusted and could be causing the noise. Front rotors do not have enough metal to machine either. Discussed with the customer and he would like the brakes replaced front and rear.
