    • – Technician test drove the vehicle and found that there was a pulsation in the front rotors, likely the weird feeling in the brakes the customer was concerned with. Recommend replacing front brake pads and rotors. – Technician inspected the parking brake and found that they needed to be adjusted back up to make contact with the inside of the rotor. Technician adjusted the parking brake and they now function as intended. – Technician inspected the brake switch and found that bracket that holds the switch was bent out of place and not allowing the brake switch to make proper contact with the brake pedal arm. Technician bent the bracket back into place and replaced the gromet and the brake switch now functions as intended

    • Test drove vehicle for concern. Upon braking we felt a pulsation in the steering wheel and noise in the rear brakes. Upon inspection we found the rear brakes app 5mm thickness. Front pads are good but rotors will need to be replaced to fix the pulsation. Should always replace the brake pads at the same time. We can machine the rear rotors and replace the pads. Rotors are thick and can be cut.

    • Scanned system for codes and found one stored. P0016-Crank/Cam correlation issue bank1. We monitored scan data and did find on bank 1 phaser readings were not correct. Showed a max negative and positive voltage at idle and went mostly to normal at higher rpm. The code would not set when at high rpm but when idling it came on right away. We used a lab scope to make sure the PCM control was present and found good. Indicates a phaser on bank 1 has failed.
    • CAMSHAFT GEAR OR SPROCKET – Remove & Replace – F150,V8,5.4L Eng Left or Both,w/Timing Chain Removal
    • FREIGHT CHARGE
    • INSTALL NEW SPARK PLUGS IN CONJUNCTION OF OTHER REPAIRS
